About Grian Herbs:
“All our extracts and products are processed and hand made at the apothecary. We use organically cultivated botanicals acquired from high-quality growers in Vermont. Most are in fact grown in our own gardens, where we can follow the life of the plant from seed to preserved extract to ensure highest quality and freshness.
“We harvest our herbs according to the seasonal rhythms in which we live and the plants’ most active part, from spingtime roots, to summer leaves and flowers in full bloom, and back to roots and seeds in fall. We then process them fresh, allowing the herbs’ natural vitality and potency to permeate the extract. The tinctures are in a base of grain alcohol, varying in strength based on the individual herb, and steep for at least 4 weeks. Although not a regular product, glycerin extracts (glycerites – alcohol free) are available if you can wait a couple of weeks, and custom-extraction special orders are welcome as well.”
This elixir was made in a full moon cycle and is potent and delectable. Can be taken on its own or used in recipes.
