Thanksgiving hours, level 2 gourmet dehydrator class and fun workshops (plus more)

Hello Fiddle Heads People!

Have some notices so I'll get right to it:

Happy Thanksgiving to you all and many blessings to you and your bellies this holiday season!

Please contact me if you'd like to join us in the Level 2 raw food class scheduled on Saturday. Cost is $175.00. (This is a seriously discounted class rate!) We'll be doing gourmet, dehydrated recipes and will cover sprouting more thoroughly, too. Come with an empty belly because we make and eat food all day.

(Please also let me know if you'd like to come to a RAW IN WINTER class. I've had some inquiries about that so we can schedule that in January.)

We had a fun Raw Desserts Part 1 workshop at the Hunger Mtn Coop recently. The next one coming up is Sunday, where we will be doing another raw dessert recipe. If you came to the one in November, know that we will be doing something entirely different in December!

We are now selling our incredibly YUMMLY raw vegan ice cream at Healthy Living in South Burlington. Please visit their ice cream section for REALLY raw ice cream that tastes amazing!

RECIPE TIME!

Raw Chocolate Brownie with Happy Hempy Topping
I found this recipe online and modified it (a lot). Try it for yourself and see how easy it is to make a yummy dessert!

the brownie part:
2 cups walnuts
1/4 cup raw cacao powder
1/4 cup frozen cherries
1/4 cup raw agave or sweetener of your choice
pinch Himalayan sea salt
Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend until it turns into a thick brownie batter. Feel free to use 1/4 - 1/3 cup filtered water to keep things moving. (Start with less and use more if needed.) Spoon out into square glass brownie pan or springform pan.

the happy hempy part:
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/3 - 1/2 cup fresh nut milk
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1 Tbsp pomegranate powder
1 Tbsp lecithin
3 Tbsp raw agave or sweetener of your choice
1/2 tsp vanilla powder
pinch Himalayan sea salt
1/3 cup coconut flakes (optional)

Put all topping ingredients in the VitaMix blender and blend until smooth. (Start with the 1/3 cup of nut milk and add more if you need more.) Pour it over the brownies and set in the freezer about one hour. Cut into squares and serve with a glass of nut milk!

Thank you for your RAWsome time and energy! Please contact me for information or other raw goodies (both bulk and prepared.)

In joy and in health,

Linda
